Hercules The Huge Engine
Hercules is the second biggest engine to ever visit Sodor. He was recruited for heavy goods work to and from the mainland and for the Island's Centennial celebrations. Many engines have tried to break Hercules down, but not a single one has worked. He is friendly, helpful, and always obeys the orders of Sir Topham Hatt and Sir Jacob Jones, but he refuses to work for anyone else without their consent. Hercules is a spin-off of the TUGS character Hercules the Ocean-Going Tug. Hercules is based on a Union Pacific Railroad DD35A D-D #70 circa 1965.
